MLB • The Mets, who lost to the Braves 12-0 on Tuesday and 13-1 on Wednesday, are only the third team in major-league history that was at least 25 games over .500 to lose consecutive games, both by at least 12 runs. The other teams to do that were the St. Louis Browns of the American Association in 1891 and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1936.
