Benn denies Notre Dame silent verbal

Marcus Aurelius, last of the "five good emperors" of Rome and stoic philosopher, has added a new accomplishment. He's the namesake of No. 2 wide receiver prospect Arrelious Benn (Washington, D.C./Dunbar).

In the movie Gladiator, a mostly fictional account, Aurelius distrusts his son Commodus and privately bequeaths his throne to Maximus, only to be betrayed and murdered by son before the succession is made public.
