Chiefs sign QB Printers, Huard game-time decision

Preparing for the possibility that they could be reduced to just one healthy quarterback on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night signed rookie Casey Printers to the active roster, elevating him from the practice squad, where the former CFL signal-caller spent the first seven weeks of the season.

Printers, 25, will dress for Sunday's game against Seattle, and depending upon the availability of Damon Huard, will be either the primary backup or the No. 3 "emergency" quarterback.
