Good injury news for Bears' Harris

It appears the Bears dodged a bullet with the knee injury to Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommie Harris. Lovie Smith says the injury, a knee sprain, isn't season ending. With four virtually meaningless games remaining in a regular season in which the Bears clinched the NFC North, Harris might not play the rest of the regular season and just try to get ready for the playoffs. The fear in the locker room after the game was Harris might have been lost for the season. So far, the Bears have been lucky with the breaks this season. Broncos breathing sighs of relief: Mike Shanahan will give middle linebacker Al Wilson a chance at practicing Wednesday if the tingling around his neck goes away. Wilson went to the hospital Sunday night as a precaution because of a neck injury. The Broncos didn't rule out his chances of playing Sunday against the Chargers. Kicker Jason Elam didn't suffer a tear of his hamstring, only a strain. His status for the Chargers game is up in the air and Shanahan thinks he might be able to play.
