NFL fines Harris after late hit is reviewed

Chicago Bears safety Chris Harris has been fined $7,500 by the NFL for two incidents of overaggressive play in the third quarter of last Sunday's victory over the Minnesota Vikings.


During a six-minute stretch of the quarter, the second-year veteran was penalized for a personal foul, and also kicked an unidentified Minnesota player during a special teams play. The latter play was undetected during the game, and did not draw a file, but was cited by league officials ...
