HONOLULU -- Take that, Michelle Wie.

A Hawaiian teen made the cut at the Sony Open on Friday, but it wasn't the much-ballyhooed Wie, playing for the fourth time in her hometown event. Nope, instead it was local boy Tadd Fujikawa, 16, who became the youngest player to reach the weekend in a PGA Tour event in almost 50 years.

"I can't even breathe right now," Fujikawa told the Golf Channel just minutes after sinking an eagle putt on his final hole. "I'm so excited. It's just great. I think making the cut is an awesome thing for me right now. Having all these people supporting me is just the greatest thing in the world."
