100-meter record-holder Powell to run 400 tuneup

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Asafa Powell will run his first race of the year in front of home fans on Saturday in the Queen's/Grace Jackson Invitational meet.

Coach Stephen Francis said the world 100-meter record-holder will run the 400 meters at the meet to get in shape. Michael Frater, the world championships 100 silver medalist, also will run the 400.
