Phils IF Jordan, LHP Aldred agree to terms on one-year deals
PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Phillies' list of arbitration eligible players was reduced to three today after infielder Kevin Jordan and reliever Scott Aldred agreed to terms on one-year contracts.
Jordan's deal is worth $1 million while Aldred will make $600,000. The contracts also include performance incentives.
"We're pleased to get this done," Phillies manager Ed Wade said. "It's always our goal to avoid arbitration."
