Esposito shines as Gordon falters
Phil Gordon headed into the final table of the World Series of Poker circuit event at Harrah's in New Orleans with a tower of chips in front of him. But the deck wouldn't comply in his attempt to win his first WSOP circuit title, as he ran into pocket aces not once, but twice. Lou Esposito, from Howard Beach, N.Y., held the pocket aces the second time, and Gordon's pocket kings failed to improve, resulting in a new chip leader and an eventual fourth-place finish for Gordon.
