Free agents Brown, Tillis join depleted Sparks
LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Sparks signed two free agents, guard Kiesha Brown and center Iciss Tillis Wednesday to replace the retired Chamique Holdsclaw.
Brown played three games with Minnesota before being waived May 25. A five-year veteran out of Georgia, Brown also played in Washington, Houston and New York.
The 6-foot-5 Tillis played last year for New York, where she averaged 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 25 games.
