Canadian Dumanski wins Omaha bracelet
After 686 players had fallen, Lukasz Dumanski, a 24-year-old professional poker player from Toronto, was left standing with $227,454 and the gold WSOP bracelet as he won the $1,500 pot-limit Omaha high-low event.
Dumanski had two previous cashes at the WSOP, both coming in 2005 in pot-limit Omaha events. His best finish until Wednesday was 14th place. Dumanski entered the final table in third place and overcame the chip leader at the time, David Bach, heads-up for the bracelet.
