Report: Center has one-year deal to play for HC Sparta Prague

Petr Nedved reportedly will not play another NHL game, settling on a contract with a Czech team rather than return for a 15th season in the league.

The veteran center has agreed to a one-year contract to play for Czech champion HC Sparta Prague, according to a report on TSN of Canada's Web site.

Nedved, 35, had two goals and 10 assists in 42 games in 2006-07; he was placed on waivers three times last season, with the Edmonton Oilers claiming him from the Philadelphia Flyers the third ...
