Intimidating, deliberate Putz makes hitters sweat

Joseph Jason Putz acts as if he has all the time in the world. He moves slowly, the way only large creatures can -- oxen or lions or 250-pound righthanders -- creatures who know, because of their size, that nobody is stupid enough to provoke them.
