Greek sprinters Kenteris, Thanou face perjury trial after alleged accident
ATHENS, Greece -- The perjury trial of Greek sprinters Costas Kenteris and Katerina Thanou set to begin Monday was postponed until June 19.
Kenteris and Thanou face misdemeanor charges of perjury over an alleged motorcycle accident on Aug. 12, 2004, which they are suspected of staging in order to avoid a doping test on the eve of the Athens Olympics.
