New Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo faced his mentor when New York hosted Philadelphia on Sunday night, and it appears Spagnuolo learned well from Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson.

The Giants sacked Philadelphia QB Donovan McNabb 12 times in a 16-3 victory, blitzing their corners, safeties and linebackers from every angle and at every opportunity, the same kind of everything-but-the-kitchen-sink philosophy Johnson uses to pressure quarterbacks. Watching the game it seemed like the only difference between the two defenses was the color of their jerseys.
