Today we bring you breaking news in the world of fantasy football: The Kansas City Chiefs beat the NFL trade deadline by sending Michael Bennett to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night for some meaningless return. An entire world of fantasy football owners dealing with ridiculous injuries, untimely slumps and silly bye weeks unites by standing up, raising its collective arms ... and yawning.

Yeah, you can see how excited I am that the Bucs have found a running back to replace Earnest Graham. Excuse me while I rush to the waiver wire to pick up Bennett.

When Bennett was on the Vikings, he underachieved and couldn't stay healthy. When he was the prime backup to Larry Johnson on the Chiefs, you actually had a reason for drafting him because you could make the case it was a handcuff pick, and he'd be able to run behind the giant K.C. offensive line should Johnson get hurt. Now Bennett is back in the NFC, with a team that hasn't had a running back rush for 1,200 yards since 1995! That was Errict Rhett, by the way.
