NEW YORK -- Although Oscar De La Hoya is here to promote Saturday night's eagerly anticipated fight between welterweight titleholder Miguel Cotto and former champion Shane Mosley, the Golden Boy can't avoid questions about his own ring career. It was one of the topics discussed Thursday during a roundtable talk with reporters. De La Hoya, who earned an estimated $40 to $45 million for his May 5 loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing's richest fight ever, reiterated that he plans to fight twice in 2008 and then retire.
