Giants QB Eli Manning threw four interceptions in Week 12 versus the Vikings' secondary, three of which were returned for touchdowns. Minnesota came into the game in the bottom-third of the NFL in interceptions. So while everyone was bemoaning the play of Manning and not praising the Vikings' secondary I stepped inside the film room and discovered the Vikings are subtly making some defensive changes that may help them down the stretch.

Last season the defensive coordinator in Minnesota was Mike Tomlin. Head coach Brad Childress has an offensive background, so he let Tomlin basically handle the defense as he saw fit. Tomlin did an excellent job and that is why he got a head coaching job after one season in Minnesota, and the Vikings brought in defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.
