Quietly excellent

It was another low-scoring game, and once again Evgeni Nabokov looked good in net for the San Jose Sharks as they beat the Colorado Avalanche, 3-2. Nabokov stopped 33 of 35 on the night to drop his goals-against average to 2.01 on the season. Joe Thornton picked up assists on two of the Sharks' three goals and continues to perform very well, somewhat under the radar. His 20 assists this year leave him tied for fourth in the NHL and may be had in a trade for slightly less than his actual value. ...
