Back in White
Snow people care more about fluffy precipitation than food, water and shelter combined. Indeed, snow is generally viewed by winter-sports communities as a glorious gift from above.
Ironically, the nickel-sized flakes that crashed down during tonight's Men's SuperPipe final wreaked havoc on one such community. A rare January rain firmed up the Aspen pipe late in the afternoon, but the Rocky Mountain sky soon gave way to a thick white veil. It was a whole new ballgame.
