Canadiens' Kostopoulos won't be charged; O'Byrne's theft case still pending
Prosecutors have decided not to charge one of the two Montreal Canadiens players arrested last week during an altercation with police outside a Tampa nightclub.
Canadiens forward Tom Kostopoulos, who had been charged with resisting an officer, a misdemeanor, wrote a letter of apology to the officer involved in the incident, assistant state attorney Pam Bondi said, according to the Tampa Tribune.
