Hossa to miss about a week after injuring knee in Pens debut
OTTAWA -- Marian Hossa was happy to learn that his sprained knee will keep him from skating with his new Pittsburgh teammates for only about a week.
Hossa injured his right knee against the Boston Bruins on Thursday night, just 13 shifts into his debut with the Penguins.
"It's bad news, but it's also good news because I didn't know what to expect and it's a first-degree MCL [medial collateral ligament] and it should be better within hopefully a week," Hossa said Friday.
