Greensburg's boys hoops team heads to state
By 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Lunch Box -- the only standing restaurant in Greensburg, Kan. -- was expected to close long before the dinner rush. The place would've been empty, anyway.
For the first time since a tornado wiped out 95 percent of the town last spring, Greensburg has somewhere to go. The boys' basketball team qualified for a rare trip to the state tournament, and will play Colony-Crest in the 1A quarterfinals Wednesday night in Hays, Kan.
