Maddux's history of conditioning

Sometime this summer, Greg Maddux is going to win his 355th game and pass Roger Clemens for eighth on the all-time list. He's got a shot at Kid Nichols (361) and even Warren Spahn (363). And while I think the odds are just slightly against him, if Maddux can pitch effectively through 2009 he'll also pass Pete Alexander and Christy Mathewson (373 apiece) and wind up third all-time, behind only Cy Young and Walter Johnson. I'm pulling for him, not least because he turns 42 this season, same as me. So how does he keep doing it? Miracle drugs? Bionic right arm? Some shady deal with Mr. Hand?
