Portland State players freed; two denied beating up Michigan man

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico -- Two Portland State basketball players were released from jail Wednesday after telling police they weren't part of a fight in a Mexican resort town.

Jeremiah Dominguez and Scott Morrison denied beating up a 23-year-old Michigan man late Friday.

Kyle Meagher, a student at Lansing Community College, suffered a broken jaw. He told police from his hospital bed that he didn't have a chance to identify the aggressors. He said he only remembers being hit and losing ...
