Ovechkin finishes with 65 goals

For the first time in three years, the Washington Capitals have made the playoffs. In the game with the most playoff significance on Saturday night, the Capitals were able to bump the Carolina Hurricanes out of a playoff spot with a 3-1 win over the Florida Panthers. Cristobal Huet drew chants of "hip, hip, hu-et" from the home crowd as he made 25 saves in the win.
