Scott hopes to be healthy for Masters opening round

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- After withdrawing from last week's Houston Open due to a high fever and throat infection, Adam Scott checked in at Augusta National Golf Club on Monday, but eschewed a practice round in favor of further rest.

"I'm feeling better," said Scott, who is currently taking antibiotics. "I'm going to rest up, come out [Tuesday] and get back into tournament mode."
