Bears could add a former Lion to help RB situation
The Bears won't miss Cedric Benson, but they will have to have some semblance of a running game, and Matt Williamson breaks down just how they can do it.
Chicago could look at established free agents such as Travis Henry or Shaun Alexander, but those two might not be the best fit. Henry has off-the-field issues and problems staying healthy, and Alexander lacks the toughness this franchise needs and demands from its running backs. Plus, neither Henry nor Alexander is going to help out on special teams or contribute on passing downs. Adding either player would be a mistake.
