Jennings playing in Europe would hurt his draft stock, improve his game

There has been a lot of talk about Brandon Jennings threatening to play in Europe rather than the University of Arizona next season. But Jennings' assumption that he would be the first American high schooler to skip college to play professionally in Europe before entering the NBA draft is na´ve at best. Jennings, who has yet to academically qualify for college because of his SAT score, is Scouts Inc.'s No. 1-rated high school player in the country. He might be the best high school basketball prospect in the country, but he also has a far more well-rounded offensive game than Derrick Rose, this year's No. 1 draft pick, right now.
