Former Longhorn remains jailed in Texas

A former Texas football player remained in Travis County Jail after he was arrested Monday for violating terms of his probation by failing to show up for a court date.

Robert Joseph, 20, was jailed under bonds totaling $3,000, said Roger Wade, a spokesman for the Travis County Sheriff's Department.

Joseph had earlier pleaded guilty to robbery, a second-degree felony under Texas law. Joseph accepted a deal requiring him to complete eight years of probation and perform 340 hours ...
