Ruling could hasten signings

The NFL Players Association won its special master grievance against the NFL management council, which should speed up the process of getting lower first- and all second-round selections signed.

On Saturday, a special master notified the union and all clubs that the NFLPA won its case, which was presented on Friday. Under debate was how to count guaranteed "one-time bonuses" in the salary cap.
