The Chargers appear to be off to a great start at camp. When the 2007 season ended, three keys to the Chargers' offense were injured. The buzz at camp is that all three of those standouts -- LaDainian Tomlinson, Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates -- are doing well in their respective rehab processes.

I spoke with coach Norv Turner, who is pleased with how all three of his protégés are progressing. He emphasized the hard work that each has put in during the offseason and how it is paying dividends early. Although he admits that Gates has the most hurdles to clear before he can play effectively, Turner expects that each will be significantly contributing to the team this fall.
