Djokovic has something to prove
One of the prevailing plots at this year's U.S. Open is whether Roger Federer can finish the season on a high note after a year of few ups and mostly downs (by his standards, anyway). You hear the scuttlebutt and read between the lines -- Is Federer finished? Will he beat Pete Sampras' record? It's all nonsense, this notion that a man with 12 Grand Slam titles in the prime of his career has something to prove.
