If you didn't get a chance to read Jake Howard's tale of airline defilement on December 15th, go back and check it out. He was extorted for $200 when leaving Honolulu for his board bag. The airlines are getting way out of control here. We all know that certain carriers, like Air Tahiti, Quantas, and Air New Zealand don't charge for boards (and we support them whole heartedly) but that doesn't do much good for most of us in this hemisphere.
