Jackets' Mason continues to deliver

Rookie Steve Mason ended 2008 with a bang, and his owners are hoping 2009 continues on the same note. Mason stopped 27 shots to become the first goalie in Columbus' history to post shutouts in three consecutive games, leading the Blue Jackets to a 2-0 win over Anaheim. His shutout streak now sits at a franchise-record 182 minutes, 8 seconds. In the process, Mason has lowered his NHL-leading goals-against average to 1.69.
