Rich Gannon (Delaware Blue Hens) - The four-time Pro Bowl quarterback was the 2002 NFL MVP.

Dallas Green (Newport; Delaware Blue Hens) - Green managed the 1980 world champion Philadelphia Phillies.

Randy White (Wilmington) - The nine-time Pro Bowler (1977-1985) was co-MVP of Super Bowl XII.

Harold "Tubby" Raymond (Delaware Blue Hens) - The Blue Hens former head coach won three national championships (1971, '72, '79).
