Michigan's Mt. Rushmore of Sports

Gordie Howe (Detroit Red Wings) - The 23-time All-Star won four Stanley Cups and scored 801 career goals.

Steve Yzerman (Detroit Red Wings) - In 22 years with Detroit, Yzerman won three Stanley Cups and is ranked in the Top 10 in goals, assists, and points all-time.

Barry Sanders (Detroit Lions) - Sanders made the Pro Bowl each of his 10 seasons with the Lions and is third all-time in rushing yards. He's also the first player have 1,000 Rush yds in his first 10 seasons.

Joe Louis (Detroit) - Louis held the heavyweight title 11 years and defended his title 25 times before finishing his career with a record of 68-3 with 54 knockouts.
