10. Oregon might well go winless in Pac-10 play just a year after Oregon State went winless. The difference with Oregon is that the Ducks have been getting to the Big Dance in recent years. UO is two years removed from the Elite Eight, which, by my recollection, has to be among the greatest declines of an Elite Eight team in the history of college basketball, with the possible exception of teams that go through massive upheaval due to probation. No one, and I mean no one, goes from the Elite Eight, to the Dance the next year, to not winning a single league game the year after that.

9. Minnesota might miss the NCAA tourney. Please do not take this as Tubby-bashing. I think he has changed Minnesota's reach in recruiting and has the Gophers on the right path, but with only one win out of conference (albeit a good one against Louisville) and a ton of gimmes, Minnesota might not dance. After dropping another conference game to Michigan on the road Thursday night, upcoming home games versus Northwestern, to whom the Gophers have lost; Wisconsin, whom they beat at Kohl; and Michigan again will be their biggest remaining home challenges that they must win. Oh, and a there's a trip to Champaign to play the Illini. With everyone in the Big Ten in need of a win and Minnesota with by far the softest nonconference ledger, the Gophers, in my opinion, will not dance.
