Tort no treat to his players, but he gets results
There's a new sheriff behind the Rangers bench and, boy, he's a tough one. After more than four years in New York, Tom Renney was fired on Monday, replaced by former Lightning bench boss John Tortorella. In terms of coaching styles, these two are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Renney is known to be calm, optimistic and well-liked by his players. While "hard-lined", "tough" and "fiery" are the nicest terms volleyed about in describing Tortorella. Essentially, the kindergarten teacher was replaced by the drill sergeant. And the fantasy ramifications could be severe and wide spread.
