Parity has produced a number of terrific story lines and plenty of great games this season. As we get ready for March Madness, a few of these games and players I've watched -- both on TV and in person -- deserve some further discussion. My (Large) New Favorite Player
I have watched Dexter Pittman several times this season, but when his Texas Longhorns took on the Baylor Bears last week I got a new appreciation for him. Averaging just 14.5 minutes per game, he played 23 minutes because of an injury to starting power forward Gary Johnson and made good use of the time by scoring 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting while grabbing seven rebounds, both well above his season averages.
