Weather biggest factor at Amistad

With water temperatures in the 60s and the current moon phase just about to become full, the Lake Amistad bass should be in a full-blown spawning cycle by the time the Elite Series season kicks off Thursday in Del Rio.

The key word there is "should." Mother Nature has a way of playing cruel tricks on those anglers hoping for a sight-fishing slugfest.
