The ultimate beauty contest

Sunday morning, my 2-year-old combed my hair with a Happy Meal toy, held a small mirror in front of my face and said, "You're not beautiful yet." After grooming for a few more minutes, she held the mirror up again and proclaimed, "You're beautiful now" and walked away.
The NCAA tournament is the ultimate beauty contest -- showing which teams are ready to contend for the championship, and which need more grooming before passing on to the next round. Ball State is an early Cinderella. (We should call 'em Ball Gown.) Connecticut has been the fairest of them all the entire season. But stories are everywhere and I hope to share them with you the rest of the way.
