"Road game" won't affect UConn
DETROIT -- Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun doesn't seem too concerned about playing Michigan State at Ford Field, which is about 90 miles from the MSU campus in East Lansing.
"I don't think that's a major problem," Calhoun said.
Calhoun said it can't be worse than when the Huskies played North Carolina in the East Regional finals of the 1998 NCAA tournament in Greensboro, N.C. The Tar Heels won that game 75-64.
