Clayton grabs No. 2 spot for Hokies

Virginia Tech redshirt freshman Joseph "Ju-Ju" Clayton has been named the Hokies backup quarterback to Tyrod Taylor, the school announced on Monday, answering one of the program's biggest questions heading into the 2009 season.
Redshirt freshman Marcus Davis, who was competing with Clayton for the No. 2 spot this spring, will work at receiver the remainder of this week while continuing to develop his arm strength. The Hokies, who are likely to be a top 10 preseason team, have their ...
