History doesn't favor Penguins in these Cup finals

PITTSBURGH -- We love history. The Penguins do not.

Of the 32 home teams that have opened the Stanley Cup finals with two straight wins, only the 1971 Chicago Blackhawks could not close the deal. They allowed the Montreal Canadiens to come back and win the series in seven games. The other 31 teams all went on to win the Cup.
