Are southpaws left behind as closers?

Sherrill, Fuentes, Downs, Gonzalez lead small class of lefty stoppers

They are the few, the proud, the left-handed closers. You won't find many of them in major league baseball today, nor have they made a tremendous mark on the all-time saves list. Only three of the top 25 career saves leaders threw with the left hand (John Franco, Billy Wagner and Randy Myers) and seven of the top 50.
