Baseball has a long history of sharing some of its best players with other sports, from Jackie Robinson, who lettered in four sports at UCLA, to Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders, who handled simultaneous MLB and NFL careers. We may not see any player pull off that kind of double duty again, but MLB scouting directors still love multisport athletes -- and not just because it indicates a higher level of athletic ability.
