Sprinter charged with assaulting boy
NASSAU, Bahamas -- Retired sprint champion Andrew Tynes of the Bahamas was charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy who was a student at the school where he taught gym.
The 37-year-old track star was charged during a hearing Wednesday with indecent assault on a minor last month. Tynes is due back in court Monday, when a trial date is expected to be set.
He has denied wrongdoing and was released after posting $6,000 bond. His lawyer, Ramona Farquharson, declined comment Thursday ...
