Crosby sits again with sore groin
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby didn't practice for a second consecutive day because of a sore groin, and it appears unlikely he will play in an exhibition game in Detroit on Sunday.
Crosby took to the ice Saturday and plans to skate again Sunday, but coach Dan Bylsma said there was no reason to push Crosby for a game that doesn't count.
Crosby was injured early in the Penguins' exhibition game against Columbus on Thursday night.
