Other QBs who could follow in Leftwich's footsteps

I understand that Byron Leftwich hadn't played great football while accumulating 34 fantasy points through two weeks of the season, but still, was anyone else surprised he got benched for Josh Johnson so quickly? Again, there's a major difference between reality and fantasy when it comes to the NFL, but Leftwich wasn't the main reason the Tampa Bay Buccaneers started 0-2, then delivered a brutal offensive effort in a 24-0 loss to the Giants to make it three consecutive losses.

I write this about Leftwich because although he wasn't a top-notch, reliable fantasy option, he did have the same number of fantasy points entering Week 3 as Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers. The only quarterback who outscored Leftwich in each of the first two weeks was that guy in New Orleans. So Leftwich was getting his fantasy points, albeit in losses. And now he's being replaced by the ace of the Florida Marlins.

OK, so it's a different guy. (What, you didn't expect I'd use that joke?) Even Johnson seemed taken aback by the promotion:
